Primary meristems and development of the primary vegetative body of angiosperms; internal organization of the primary vegetative body and the relationship between structure and function of tissues; mechanism and importance of secondary growth in dicotyledons; brief survey of the relationship between structure and industrial uses of secondary tissues.
