CHIN 313 — Newspaper Chinese I

Newspaper Chinese presents certain characteristic linguistic features that students at this level should be conversant with. This course is intended to develop students‘ skills in reading Chinese newspapers by focusing on these distinctive features of the Chinese language. This course will help every student accumulate about 500 Chinese words to augment their vocabulary and to improve their skills in reading a Chinese newspaper.
