This course is designed to introduce students to e-business. Topics covered include: e-business evolution & opportunities; categories of e-business; e-business models; network infrastructure & web based tools for e-business; e-business risks & risks management; network security and firewall; cryptography environment of e-business; ERP/SCM/CRM and web based marketing; intelligence .This provides a study of multimedia systems and applications in the business world. Topics include: multimedia applications, hypertext and hypermedia, audio, graphics, images, and full motion video; multimedia-ready personal computers and workstations, storage devices, operating systems and graphical user interfaces; communication and networking requirements, multimedia applications on the Internet; file formats, data compression and streaming audio/video.
