DANS 411 — Costume Design and Construction for Dance I

The course provides knowledge in design and construction of costume for the body in motion. It connects students‘ knowledge of costume design to the actual construction of the costume. The class will examine among others the theory and practice of the principles of design, the construction process, history etc. Students will be helped to design and construct costumes for a dance production at the end of the semester
