Review and application of Network theorems to AC Networks: Superposition, substitution, Thevenin, Duality; Norton; Reciprocity. Network Topology: Graph or network: Trees; Node voltages and current equation. Use of nodal voltage method and mesh current method in network analysis. Two prot Networks: Relationship between terminal quantities; choice of parameters; network models; interconnection of networks; validity tests. Application of interconnection rules; Loaded two ports; Reciprocity and symmetry. Multiport Networks : Network equations; effect of dependent and independent internal sources. n-terminal networks. The indefinite admittance matrix; connection of a terminal to earth; connection of two terminals together; suppression of terminal; connection of networks in parallel. Two port devices: Impedance converter, Generalized impedance converter, Negative impedance converter, impedance inverter, the Gyrator.
