Events leading to the establishment of Christianity in West Africa – The two stages of mission: (a) Catholic Portuguese – 15th Century, (b) Protestant and Catholic from the 18th Century. Mission Theories and Methods; Missions and West African Culture; Impact and consequences of the Church in West Africa; Contemporary Church life and Organization in West Africa.
