RUSS 326 — Russian Press

This course deals with the emergence of the pluralistic press in Russia. A brief history of the Soviet press will be covered to enhance students‘ understanding of the interface of knowledge and language for example. Special attention will be given to the linguistic, political and sociocultural features of both the serious and tabloid press of modern-day Russia.
