DANS 421 — ** Dance and Tourism

This course explores the role dance plays in the tourism industry. Students will study the structure and management of dance — looking specifically at how dance in its various forms can support tourism not only as an income-generating phenomenon but also as a way of projecting the cultural values of Ghana. Students will visit selected tourist sites to familiarize themselves with the trade.
