FREN 462 — Special Author: Francophone Literature

A general survey of the life and works of a major author of Francophone literature (not studied elsewhere in the syllabus). At least two works produced by the author will be studied in detail, using tools such as actantial model, analytical grid of characters, narrative structure, narrative perspective, themes, style, setting and temporality.
