Effect of tides on coasts. Coastal sediments. Sediments movements by currents. Sediment movement by wind. Coastal sand dunes. Tidal landforms (wetlands, mudflats, salt marshes and coastal mangrove forests). Other coastal landforms (sandy and rocky shores, cliffs and shore platforms, arches and stacks, pocket beaches, spits, hooks and tombolos, etc). Coastal morphology and sea level. Coastal and shore line protection.
