This course is designed to bring to bear on religious studies issues of human rights and social concern. The perspective of religious studies will be applied to contemporary problems involving human rights such as: children and women issues, war and peace, the denial of people’s basic rights and needs, factors that dehumanize people and the liberation of peoples.
