Privacy Policy

Last updated August 6, 2026

This policy explains what we collect when you study with Questora, why we collect it, and the control you have over it.

1. Information we collect

We collect the information you give us directly: your account details, the course materials you upload, and the study activity you generate inside the app such as questions answered, sessions completed and progress through your materials. Some technical information, like device and usage data, is collected automatically so the app works reliably.

2. How we use it

Your information powers the product: generating practice questions from your own materials, tracking progress, planning your week, and surfacing what you should study next. We also use aggregate usage data to fix problems and improve the app.

3. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on managed, access-controlled infrastructure. Access to production data is limited to what is required to operate the service.

4. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile, materials and study history. Requests can be sent to privacy@questora.study.

5. AI processing

When you use AI features, the relevant text or file content is sent to our AI providers to produce a response. We do not sell your content, and we do not use your personal materials to train AI models.

6. Third-party services

We rely on third parties for hosting, database, email delivery, payments and AI processing. Each processes data only to deliver their part of the service and under their own privacy terms.

7. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and for a short period afterwards where required for legal or accounting reasons. You may request deletion at any time.

8. Age

Questora is built for tertiary students and is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Ghanaian law

Our practices are designed to align with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and other applicable data protection rules.
