Objective Information and communications technology (ICT) is increasingly taking centre stage in the affairs of men. The purpose of the course is to introduce the student to the use of computers to enable him participate meaningfully in the ICT environment. At the end of this course the student will be able to have a general knowledge of computers and be able to carry out simple windows based activities. Contents A general introduction to computers and computing; Introduction to DOS; Introduction to Windows; Introduction to Word Processing (Microsoft Word).
