The purpose of the course is to expose students to the basic concepts and methods in human resource development. The course will discuss, among other topics, the evolution of the concept of human resource development, education and training, job analysis and training needs assessment, staff orientation and induction, counselling, motivation, placement and staff appraisal procedures. Students will also be introduced to the legal and policy frameworks for human resource management in Ghana ELECTIVES
