Blood and circulation: - composition of blood, functions of blood, heart and blood vessels; the respiratory system: - structure of the respiratory system of mammalian and avian species, gaseous exchange in the lungs and tissues, transport of oxygen and carbon dioxide; the excretory system: - structure of the kidneys, the functional unit of the kidneys and formation of urine; the reproductive system: - reproductive organs of livestock and avian species, spermatogenesis and cogenesis, endocrine functions of the testes and ovaries; skeletal system of livestock and avian species; the digestive system: - structure and functions of the different sections of the digestive systems of livestock and avian species.
