MTEN 303 — Introduction To Materials Processing

(Prerequisite: MTEN 206, 203) Discusses scientific and technological bases of material processing and has a strong focus on materials in general. It provides students with modern as well as inter-disciplinary topics within materials processing. The course is designed to cover the areas of casting, plastic forming, powder processing, polymer processing and metrology. Various methods of heat and surface treatments will also be studied.
