MTEN 311 — Solid State Technology

(Prerequisite: MTEN 201, 204, 305, 323) This course looks at Solid –State Physics: energy bands in materials, carrier statistics and semiconductor technology. The semiconductor technology deals with semiconductor devices and their applications in material studies or processing. Emerging technologies such as biomaterials, smart materials and nanotechnology will be considered as well.
