MTEN 324 — Metal Joining Technology-Welding
Materials Science and Engineering · University of Ghana
Welding is a metal joining process whereby two metals are made plastic or liquid by heat or pressure or both. Welding continues to serve as the primary means of metal joining today. It has been an empirical art rather than a scientifically based technology for a long time. This trend has changed in recent years as global demand for consistently high quality welds in a wide variety of materials has increased. This course presents the joining of various ferrous and non-ferrous metals/alloys to form a sound weld.
