ADLT 101 — Introduction to Adult Education

This course introduces students to the concepts, purpose and scope of adult education. Philosophical traditions of Adult Education and challenges to adult education in the 21st century will be looked at. The course will also cover traditional adult education in Ghana, the emergence of modern adult education in Ghana during the pre-independence and postindependence periods.
