EDTE 402 — Teaching Mathematics with Technology

This course examines mathematics teaching in a technology-intensive environment. Students will utilize a variety of applications, websites, games, scientific calculators, computers, and other mobile technologies to explore different mathematical concepts. Topics to be covered include history and types of technology and the boundaries of use. Software and applications such as Geogebra, MATLAB, Maple, graphing calculator, iFormulas, NumberLine, Sudoku, and virtual manipulatives.
